Red vs Blue, despite being a visually based production, has strong roots in the audio realm largely due to the fact that the characters in the show are constantly wearing helmets. This prevents the actors from using physical motions to portray an emotion and have to rely solely on their vocal performance to tell the story. Below are a couple of examples for scenes that could be adapted into a five minute story.

Rick and Morty: Season 2, Episode 10

Rick and Morty as a series doesn’t offer many opportunities for audio development due to the visual cues on screen however, the end of the finale episode would, with a little adaptation, would lend itself to being an audio drama quite well. These adaptations would come in the form of adding in various sounds to give an effect of what the visual would achieve for instance, where Rick slumps down under the house he could instead sigh. Below is a clip of the section relating to the scene in question.

Destiny 2

Despite being a game Destiny 2 offers itself up for a lot of audio development, with a rich soundscape and detailed dialogue. The idea would guide the audience from the Guardian’s losing their light, through the protagonist’s plight to the EDZ to finding the shard of The Traveler to regain their light and take the fight to Ghaul.
